Iconic transmission franchise is included on Newsweek’s “America’s Best Customer Service for 2019” list
AAMCO, the worldwide leader in transmission and complex car repair, is on Newsweek’s “America’s Best Customer Service for 2019” list.
The publication partnered with Statista to compile the list, which Newsweek Global Editor Nancy Cooper says serves to “recognize a more personal factor in business success: the ways in which many companies nurture their relationships with consumers.”
Newsweek and Statista did extensive research and analysis to determine which brands have the best customer service across multiple categories, which means that AAMCO’s being one of only three brands in the automotive category to make the list really matters.
“The America’s Best Customer Service 2019 ranking has been identified in an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 20,000 U.S. customers who have either made a purchase, used a service or gathered information about a product or service in the last three years,” Statista writes. “Each customer gave their evaluation of several brands: in total 132,954 evaluations have been collected. The brands awarded have each received on average close to 100 evaluations from customers.”
For more than 50 years, AAMCO has been at the forefront of customer service in the auto industry. They pioneered a nationwide warranty on service, and today AAMCO centers are where consumers take their vehicles when they need an expert they can trust.
In recent years, AAMCO has greatly increased focus on providing an exceptional customer experience. The brand has rolled out initiatives that let franchisees monitor consumer online reviews, has trained owners and technicians in how to interact with customers, and has ensured that they have the technical expertise their customers rely on. They also have rolled out a consumer financing platform that takes the immediate burden off of expensive auto repairs.
“We’re extremely honored to be included on Newsweek’s ‘America’s Best Customer Service for 2019’ list,” says Brian O’Donnell, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development with AAMCO. “AAMCO continues to thrive because of our unique position in the auto repair aftermarket. We’re the specialists, the experts that consumers depend on for complex car repair, and this means we have a special relationship with our customers. Our owners and technicians do an incredible job of building relationships with their customers and a maintaining a trustworthy name in their communities, and this executive team is always looking for innovative ways to help them do that and enhance their customer experience.”
